I'm a hometown kind of girl and I'm not going to lie I kind of die a little inside seeing how big our little town is becoming. Progress isn't always bad and growth is good, but I miss the sweet days of being out and about and always seeing "someone you know". We tease all of the time about moving to East Tennessee or right over the line in Alabama. Maybe someday we will? One of our favorite treats is walking MainStreet in Dallas, it just still seems so nostalgic. My girls say it's what they imagine it felt like for their Papa back when he was a little kid. As far as we can count our children are at least the 7th generation to be born and raised in Dallas, Ga. Will we stay or go? Time and wisdom from the Lord will tell, but for now we'll enjoy the magic of sweet venues like Studio 219 that give us a glimpse of where we've been and a hope for where we're headed. <3
